Letty Schamp named City Engineer

Letty Schamp has been appointed as the City Engineer for Hilliard, Ohio, as announced by City Manager Michelle Crandall. Schamp, who has served the city for 29 years, previously held roles as Deputy City Engineer and Director of Transportation and Mobility. Her new position involves overseeing the Engineering Division, focusing on infrastructure projects like utilities, roadways, and bridges, while continuing to lead transportation and mobility initiatives. Schamp’s notable contributions include advancing pedestrian and bicycle safety, promoting roundabouts, and earning recognition as a Columbus CEO Future 50 Leader in 2019. She succeeds Clark Rausch, who retired after 20 years. Schamp expressed enthusiasm for enhancing Hilliard’s infrastructure to support the city’s growth.
